– If you are experiencing cough / cold / fever or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid within the last 7 days, self isolate immediately and get a covid test.
If you test positive, do the following immediately:
  • self isolate. Do not venture out.
  • register for home isolation by sending a whatsapp message to rupesh on 8767249828. And registering your details on goaonline.Gov.In.
  • let your neighbours know that you are positive. Pls do not share domestic staff, nor ask them to hide your condition.
  •  note your temperature.
  • the doctor from the ima goa state team will call you, register you and tell you where to collect your home isolation kit, which includes a pulse oximeter.
  • stay home for 14 days.

Most common symptoms:

  • fever
  • dry cough
  • tiredness
 
Less common symptoms:
  • aches and pains
  • sore throat
  • diarrhea
  • conjunctivitis
  • headache
  • loss of taste or smell
  • a rash on skin, or discoloration of fingers or toes
 
Serious symptoms:
  • difficulty breathing  shortness of breath
  • chest pain or pressure
  • loss of speech or movement
 
-Seek immediate medical attention if you have serious symptoms. Always call before visiting your doctor or health facility.
 
-People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy should manage their symptoms at home.
 
-On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days.
  • Fever (above 100.4 Fahrenheit)
  • O2 Saturation below 95%
  • New cough
  • New shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Loss of smell or taste
-As per Government guidelines, it can only be given by the hospital. These injections cannot be administered at home.
