04.01.22: Covaxin vaccinations for children ages 15-18 are being rolled out across PHCs and UHCs in Goa since 3rd January 2022. Consent by parents/ guardians and Aadhar or any valid photo ID are a must. Parents may accompany their child. Children who are covid positive and yet to complete 90 days of recovery are not eligible. Barring any allergic reactions to previous vaccines, all children including those with comorbidities are encouraged to get vaccinated. Mild side effects which are easily manageable at home may occur.
